i got tagged by the lovely Martine from 'embryonic journey' , now i have to tag 10 blogs, and tell you 10 random facts about me

so..here we go :

1) i love listening to old music. Bands like the beatles, the kinks, the band, the who , new adventures, jefferson airplane etc. , and singers like melanie, bob dylan, jim hendrix, joan baez and janis joplin do i love very very much.
with my friend martine we have our own little woodstock nights sometimes. Then we dance, laugh and eat the whole night. Great evenings <3

2) i love drinking tea. i think it is the best drink there is. you can drink it in early mornings, lazy mornings, with a biscuit around 3 and in the evening. specially love for starmint, green, liquorice, cinnamon and strawberry tea.

3) i think vintage (or sixties inspired) clothes are the greatest clothes in the world.
the flowers , cute dresses and little details are lovely. would love to live in the sixties/seventies . the people, the clothes, the music, peace, love, the cars ...everything was so beautiful.

4) i am afraid for pigeons. don't know why...but they scare me :(

5) i got my inspiration from everywhere..the internet, blogs, magazins, paintings, pictures, books.... everything i write down in my notebook , which i take with me everywhere and all of the time. i am writing down inspiring things, dreams, music , lyrics, things i have to do , thoughts and random facts every day.

6) i love lp's . they are so much more beautiful than cd's or just a mp3 file.

7) i love being in the grass in the sun on a beautiful place with my friends. so the best summerevening is a evening in the park , with food and lovely people , watching the sky and having fun.

8) i love paintings and beautiful pictures. some of my favoriete photographers are; tim walker, chris craymer , wendy bevan and 'flickr'people. painters i love are for example john waterhouse and boticelli.
i also love vague pictures, don't care what is on it .

9) i can't live without my beatle bag, take it everywhere.

10) love eating strawberry curd. i eat it very oft with my friend martine. it is a kind of ritual.

Today my sweet friend Martine send me some pictures of a little party we had at her family last weekend. It was a evening with lovely weather , food and fun. (:




this was my outfit of yesterday. i was wearing a checked skirt, a beatle shirt , black vintage pumps and i had my glasses on.

hej Mr. Tambourine Man

The song 'Mr. Tambourine Man' is one of my favourite songs at the moment.
It is originally written and performed by Bob Dylan (1965).

After Bob Dylan's version many artists have covered the song.
A few examples are Melanie Safka , The Beatles and Bob Marley.


The band 'The Byrds' also covered the song. It was there first

single.. and they reached many number one positions in different charts. There first album is been named after the song and they became very populair with it.



I think i love the version of The Byrds just a little bit more at the moment, but that can switch very soon...Which one do you love the most?

3days of peace and music

this weekend the festival woodstock was 40 years ago..

if i could turn back time i would have a lovely weekend
full of beautiful music,beautiful people and peace

bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity.

today i am wearing a red baret (vintage shop in lyon), a lace shirt (boutique lyon), a velvet dress (thrift shop) and vintage boots.
